DVD 4 - Underworld: rise of the lycans

This movie was boring... as in lots of talking... not as much action as i expected. No bloody scenes... don't know why issit M18...
Its about the world of vampires and werewolves... the vampires doesn't even look vampire... ok, vampire-rish... but... no sharp teeths. They are more like kings and princesses, juz that they are from the darkside.
Lycans are beings that are half human, half werewolves... Anyway, Lycans are slaves to the vampire in the movie and they are supposedly like normal slaves... gotta be whipped by the vampire guards and stuffs. Then, this vampire princess fell in love with the head of the lycans. They were found out and the lycan had to run... so a war started between the werewolves and the vampire. Don't see any vampires flying in the movie... they ride horses... BORING... shouldn't they fly??
Van Heldsing was much better movie.
I give 1 star out of five. Doesn't meet my expectation at all.

DVD 3 - Love or Bread

This is a series! From my fav actors.... Ariel Lim and Joseph Cheng. Love to watch them act.
This show is really about $$. Ok... $$ and love. Well, not as nice as er zuo ju. But, due to the cast, i still watched it.
Its about a guy - Cai Jin Lai, a very lazy bum who only wanna earn quick bucks and don't wanna work hard. Never really fell in love before. Had a poor background and blah blah. Then he met Zhen Shan Mei, very hardworking but rather implusive and blinded by love. Hardworking though...
Shan Mei was ditched by her senior which she was stupidly sponsering throughout his Uni life. Of cos the senior had another girl. Shan Mei was hopelessly in love and wanna to go and marry him in Hang Zhou. She left her family due to this and end up she cant go home as she doesnt know how to face her family. Then she met this Cai Jin Lai and lots of things happen. End up they felt for each other soon. Well... happy ending at the end though. I hope that there's a part 2.... so that i can catch some lovely-dovey scenes like er zuo ju... haha.
Some parts are rather slow and draggy... boring. Gotta fast forward to see more action. I give 3 out of 5 stars... 1 star belongs to the actors.

DVD 2 - Twilight

This is a nice movie. Its about a love story between a vampire and human. No bloody scenes... more romance involved. The way i like it.
Its about a girl Bella, she moved over to a new town named Fork to stay with her dad. She was pretty and rather quiet. Then she met a boy - Edward in school. Edward was a vampire and there's something about Bella that he couldn't resist. Bella was also attracted to this handsome lad as there's something about him that she was attracted to. Finally Bella found out that Edward was vampire but that doesnt keep her from loving him. Edward was also hopelessly in love with Bella.
Like many other stories, of course the good vampire doesnt feed on human blood. But the bad vampires are luking around. There was a bad one trying to harm Bella and of cos at the end, good wins over evil... the way i like it. Hah!
I see extraordinary love in this movie.... bet all girls love it. The scenes are beautiful too... flying up the trees, jumping about. Oh yah... and in this movie, Vampires don't die under the sun... they shine like diamonds. Thats y they hide from the sun. This is really different though...
I give it 4 stars out of 5.

Movie 1 - Bedtime Stories

Its been maybe 20yrs since i had a bedtime story... anyway this is not about me. My target is to watch 100 dvds after my exams. So, here's my first one yesterday - Bedtime Stories.
Its about a guy named Skeeter Bronser, his father was the owner of a motel and since young, he loved working in the motel. He was a really positive kid with the right attitude when he was young. However, due to his father's bad business management, the motel was sold to a fat man... forgot his name. The fat man sort of "promised" the poor father that he'll let Skeeter work in his hotel and run the business in future. Anyway, that fat man was a good business man and he build a beautiful hotel and Skeeter really worked in the hotel 20yrs later... but only as a handy man.
So, an underappreciated Skeeter had to live modestly in the hotel until one day he visited his divorced sister with 2 really cute niece and nephew. His sister was an ex-principal of the school which was closing down so she planned to go for an interview in Arizona, thus asking Skeeter to take care of the kids for a week... then the magic begins.
Skeeter began to tell the kids bedtime stories and all the stories come to live. Some parts of the stories are really funny... I remember the part where Skeeter's tongue got stung by a bee sticking on and ice-cream in reality. Only his best friend can understand him... Ahaha~ Thats what are bestfriends for... understand ur language.
Well, overall out of 5, i give this movie 3 stars... its funny at certain part but rather boring at the beginning. As usual, the hero gets the girl... thats how i love it... i hate sad endings.
The next movie i'm gonna watch is - Twilight~ Praises from my friends, so i want to see how is the movie, is it as good as what they say... i'll watch it tonite!
